The Guyana Police Force is investigating an alleged rape of a 15-year-old female student by a 24-year-old taxi driver in Berbice which occurred on Thursday.
The News Desk understands that there was a video circulating with the victim having sexual intercourse with a male in a motorcar.
As a result, the victim was identified and her parent was informed of the findings after which the teen was questioned and she revealed certain details about the incident.
According to information received, the teen and her mother visited the station where a report was filed. The suspect has not yet been arrested. However, investigations are ongoing.
