The crash site where a Guyana Defence Force Bell 412 helicopter went down yesterday, has been positively identified and the aircraft spotted.
Search and rescue teams have also reported positive signs of life on the scene.
Four rescue teams are in the area even as the inclement weather conditions have prevented the attempted insertion of the rescue team to the site.
Another attempt will be made at approximately 12:45 hrs when the weather is expected to be more favourable.
