Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Bedore Totaram Male Guyanese of Indian descent age 30 years a labourer of no fixed place of abode who allegedly died by drowning, which occurred on 2025.04.09 between 06:00hrs and 07:30 at Crabwood Creek Corentyne, Berbice.
The body was fished out of the Side Line Dam canal Crabwood Creek Corentyne, Berbice.
According to the police, the body was then removed from the canal and examined for marks of violence, but none was seen.
The News Desk understands that Totaram suffers from Epilepsy.
The body was then taken to the Skeldon Public Hospital, where it was certified dead by a Doctor on duty. The body is presently lying in cold storage awaiting Post post-mortem examination.
