Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident that occurred at a house in Alness Village, Corentyne, last night.
The injured man has been identified as 54-year-old Teyan Basdeo, who sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. He was rushed to the Port Mourant Public Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
