One of the suspects arrested in connection with a recent armed robbery at Dukestown, Corriverton, has confessed to the crime, admitting that he and two accomplices carried out the attack and shared the stolen items.
Kevin Padmore, called “Bulla,” a 31-year-old unemployed resident of Dukestown, reportedly told investigators that he, along with Cordell Small, called “Mad Dawg,” a 34-year-old labourer of No. 77 Housing Scheme, Corriverton, and another suspect known as “Moses,” executed the robbery on Tuesday night.
The confession followed a cordon-and-search operation early Wednesday, September 10, 2025, led by a senior officer from Police Headquarters in New Amsterdam, which resulted in the arrests of Padmore and Small. The men were cautioned and taken into custody at the Springlands Police Station.
According to reports, at around 20:20 hrs on Tuesday, September 9, Richard Dhup, called “Dutchie,” 43, a labourer, and his wife, Willeina Dhup, 38, a housewife, were at the back of their Lot 35 King Street, Dukestown home when three masked men invaded their yard through the northern fence. Armed with what appeared to be a handgun and sharp objects, the men forced the family into the house, ordered them to lie on the kitchen floor, and ransacked the premises.
The bandits escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, several pieces of gold jewelry, three cell phones, and a Samsung tablet.
While Padmore admitted involvement, efforts are ongoing to locate the third suspect, “Moses.” Both Padmore and Small remain in custody pending further investigations.
