One person is dead and another is in critical condition at the New Amsterdam Hospital following an accident at Charlotte Street and Back Dam in New Amsterdam.
The deceased has been identified as 52-year-old Nicholas Agard.
According to reports, Agard was riding a pedal cycle when he was struck from behind by a speeding motorcycle. He was rushed to the New Amsterdam Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The motorcycle rider is currently in critical condition at the hospital.
