The BCCDA underscored that this moment represents more than a political victory, but also an opportunity to shape a legacy of inclusive and sustainable prosperity across the country.
Positioning itself as a strategic partner for the government, the Chamber emphasized its readiness to leverage its network across agriculture, manufacturing, services, and technology to ensure that national policies are translated into tangible local benefits.
“We are committed to working with your government to ensure that the economic momentum emanating from Georgetown accelerates through Regions Five and Six, creating jobs, empowering local entrepreneurs, and building climate resilience for our coastal communities,” the statement noted.
The Chamber further highlighted its vision of a Berbice that is not only a beneficiary of national wealth but also “an active, powerful engine of it.”
Reaffirming its pledge of collaboration, the BCCDA said it looks forward to working alongside President Ali to unlock Berbice’s full potential and to ensure that the region plays a central role in Guyana’s development trajectory.
