The riverain community of Moraikobai, located up the Mahaicony Creek, is mourning the tragic death of a toddler who reportedly drowned earlier today.
The deceased has been identified as 2-year-old Kevin Jacobs.
According to reports reaching The News Desk, young Jacobs was swimming in the creek with his siblings when he suddenly went missing. Moments later, efforts to locate him proved futile, and it is believed that no one saw when he went under the water and drowned.
Ranks from Region Five have been dispatched to the area to conduct investigations.
