Two persons have been confirmed dead following a horrific accident that occurred moments ago in the vicinity of the New Amsterdam Regional Hospital.
The News Desk understands that the victims were riding motorcycles, one heading north and the other south, when they reportedly lost control and collided head-on.
Region Six Commander, Shivpersaud Bacchus, confirmed the incident and noted that, based on preliminary investigations, neither of the motorcyclists appeared to have been wearing safety helmets at the time of the crash.
