Woman Corporal Nickesha Deshonna Lewis proudly secured the title of Second Runner-Up in the prestigious Miss True Blue Beauty Pageant, held in Antigua and Barbuda on Friday The crown went to the delegate from the British Virgin Islands, while the representative from Antigua and Barbuda claimed First Runner-Up.
Representing both the Guyana Police Force and the nation of Guyana, Woman Corporal Lewis showcased remarkable poise and grace throughout the competition. She is the reigning Miss Guyana Police Force 2024-25 and currently serves as a Police Prosecutor in Regional Division #3.
Nickesha has built a reputation for her commitment, leadership, and dedication to public service. With seven years of experience at the Central Immigration and Passport Office, followed by her current prosecutorial role, she has proven herself as a strong advocate for justice and community engagement. Her platform during the pageant focused on youth empowerment, a cause close to her heart and reflective of her ongoing efforts to inspire the younger generation.
Selected from a pool of delegates from various Regional Police Divisions, Nickesha’s leadership qualities, extensive knowledge, and dedication to capacity-building made her the perfect choice to represent the Guyana Police Force at the Miss True Blue Beauty Pageant. Her tireless work in public service, coupled with her passion for youth development, truly set her apart on the international stage.
The event, streamed live on Instagram and Facebook by the Caribbean Federation of Police Welfare Associations (CFPWA), allowed audiences across the Caribbean to witness Nickesha’s impressive performance, which has inspired many both within and outside the force.
