Police ranks from Regional Division #6, Special Branch and members of the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) conducted an intel-lead raid exercise earlier this week at the home of Jagdeo Ramdass of Crabwood Creek, Corentyne Berbice, during which they found suspected Ecstacy, Cocaine and Marijuana.
The ranks, during a search of premises, found a plastic bag with 81 zip-lock packets containing tablet-like substances suspected to be Ecstasy. The ranks also found suspected Cocaine and Marijuana.
Ramdass along with his wife were arrested and taken to Springlands Police Station where they were placed in custody. The man admitted knowledge of the marijuana but denied knowledge of the suspected cocaine or the suspected Ecstasy.
