As police intensify their investigation into the gruesome death of 25-year-old Tameshwar Mangroo of Mibicuri, Black Bush Polder, there are growing speculations that the murder may be drug-related. Authorities have detained eight individuals for questioning as they work to piece together the circumstances surrounding the brutal killing.
Mangroo’s lifeless body was discovered early Sunday morning along the Lesbeholden Road in Black Bush Polder. His head was severely crushed, with brain matter scattered across the roadway, and preliminary reports indicate that his body also bore what appeared to be stab wounds.
Investigators suspect that Mangroo may have been stabbed before collapsing on the road, after which a vehicle ran over him. A close source to the investigation indicated that police are actively gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses to establish the exact sequence of events leading to his death.
Mangroo’s father, Vishwadeo Mangroo, told The News Desk that his son had prior issues with certain individuals, which resulted in a court case. He explained that his son was recently fined $30,000 in connection with a drug-related matter.
“Some drugs problem…he use to work with this man and suddenly the man call me and tell me how he gonna kill me son. I get to understand that this man does do drugs and he and my son had some argument and threaten to kill my son. Only the other day the man got catch with drugs.” Vishwadeo disclosed.
According to his father, Tameshwar left home on Saturday morning to work and returned around noon for lunch. He then told his father that he was going back to work but was not seen for the rest of the day or night.
The next morning, Vishwadeo received the devastating news that his son had been involved in an accident and was being taken to a funeral home. However, upon arriving at the facility, he was met with a horrifying sight.
“When I go to the funeral parlor to see the body, I realize is my son with his head smash up—nothing left, no eye, nothing, just lil lip on him. I identify him as my son because the guy there didn’t allow me to open it more to see the whole body,” the grieving father recounted.
Initially believing his son had died in an accident, Vishwadeo later learned that stab wounds were also found on the body, raising further suspicions about the true nature of the incident.
The grieving father is now calling on authorities to conduct a thorough investigation so that his family can receive justice for his only child.
Mangroo leaves to mourn his wife, four-year-old child, parents, and other relatives.
The police investigation remains ongoing as officers continue to question the eight individuals in custody to determine the motive behind Mangroo’s brutal killing.
