Chief Executive Officer at CH&PA, Sherwyne Greaves.
“We have a large portion where we will be building young professional houses for young professional Berbicians as well as we will be giving out house lots in the low, middle and high income range in Palmyra. Palmyra is a huge huge endeavor but we see that it will bring great benefit to the people of region six.”
Among the persons that can benefit from the Palmyra Housing Development include doctors, nurse, teachers, lawyers and young persons who are now starting a family among others.
“We would have two categories of houses, the flat three bedrooms and the two story three bedrooms, we are coming up with a unique design for Berbice that will be slightly different from the ones you see in region four, the price will be just about the same.”
To benefit from houses at the Palmyra Housing Development, persons must first apply at the Central Housing and Planning Authority after which they would have to be pre-qualified from the bank for the loan then they would be allocated one of the houses.
