‘Lecture to Drivers’ Initiative Continues in Berbice

Earlier this week, Traffic Ranks in Berbice met and interacted with several drivers from Cevons Waste Management at its location at Old Smokey Mud Flat in Stanleytown, New Amsterdam.

Corporal Roberts discussed several road safety and traffic-related topics with the drivers. These topics include:

1. Driving under the influence of alcohol
2. Speeding
3. The new amendments to Traffic Laws
4. Dangerous parking of vehicles
5. The 5 Cs of driving
6. Observation of other road users
7. Maintenance of motor vehicle
8. Issuance of traffic tickets

Those in attendance were drivers, porters and other staff members of Cevons. Several questions were asked, and Corporal Roberts addressed these.
