A well-known New Amsterdam boxer and another male appeared before the Albion Magistrates’ Court earlier today to answer a rape charge involving a 14-year-old girl.
The matter was heard by Magistrate Michelle Mathias.
It is alleged that on December 5, 2025, 19-year-old Terron Wintz of the Glasgow Housing Scheme, along with 20-year-old Keson Kesney, who is currently on remand for an unrelated matter committed the offence at a house located in the Glasgow Housing Scheme, East Bank Berbice.

The News Desk understands that the teen was taken to the residence earlier that day by a 16-year-old female where eight males were present. The two accused then forced the victim into a room where a handcuff was placed on her leg and her hands tied behind her back before began raping her.

The matter was later reported to the child’s mother, who contacted the police. An investigation was launched, and the suspects were subsequently arrested.
After hearing the matter, Magistrate Mathias refused bail and transferred the case to the New Amsterdam Magistrates’ Court, where it is scheduled to continue on January 5, 2026.
