Sumintra Harripersaud, a 77-year-old resident of Friendship on the East Bank of Demerara (EBD), was the recipient of a new two-bedroom home provided by the Men On Mission (MOM) initiative.
A simple ceremony took place on Saturday where she was handed the keys to her new home.
The Minister within the Office of the Prime Minister, Kwame McCoy, personally congratulated Harripersaud during the event and emphasized MOM’s dedication to empowering vulnerable groups.
This initiative has been successful in bringing joy and stability to individuals in need, and Sumintra’s new home is a wonderful example of the positive impact it continues to have in the community.
