Residents of Region Five can look forward to improved access to specialized healthcare services in the near future as the construction of the $6.6B hospital at Bath Settlement on the West Coast of Berbice is progressing smoothly.
With the foundation already complete, the hospital is set to provide vital care and support to the local community, eliminating the need for long and arduous journeys by residents to distant healthcare facilities for adequate care.
This new facility is one of six that are being constructed by Chinese companies Sinopharm International and the China CAMC Engineering Company Limited.
