The Police in Berbice are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose name has so far been given as “Shun” of number 64 Village on the Corentyne.
thenewsdeskgy.com understands that the incident occurred this morning while the man and his wife were in the area to catch fish.
An eyewitness disclosed that the man had complained of chest pain after which he collapsed. His wife left him at the location and went home to get his medication but by the time she returned, he was unresponsive.
The police were called to the scene and they are currently investigating the incident.
