As the police intensify their efforts in bringing those responsible for killing a Corentyne welder to justice, two persons have since been detained and are assisting the police with their investigation.
25-year-old Joshua Hardatt of Lot 371 Bloomfield Village, Corentyne Berbice, was found lying motionless face down in a crouching position in the back passenger seat of his car on the dam leading to the Auchlyne cultivation area at about 08 hours on Wednesday.
According to investigators, the body bore marks of violence to the face, forehead and a wound to the back of the head.
Inital investigations revealed from the deceased brother-in-law Ravindra Singh called “Naresh”, a Security Guard of Bloomfield Village, Corentyne Berbice, that on Tuesday at about 18:00 hours the (Deceased) left home with his silver grey Toyota Premio Motor car #PAD 1612 and went to an unknown destination and ner heard from since.
The body was escorted to Ramoo Funeral home, awaiting a Post post-mortem examination.
Investigations are continuing.
