Police are investigating an alleged shooting incident committed on 27-year-old Juhu Mingo, which occurred at about 22:50 hrs last night at Cummings Park by a male suspect called ‘Hulk’, who was armed with a handgun.
According to the police, at about 17:50 hrs yesterday, the victim and the suspect had an argument at the road corner, after which the victim walked away and went home.
Later in the night, the victim was at home in bed when he heard his window shutter open. Upon checking, he saw a male dressed in all-over black whom he recognised as ‘Hulk’.
Hulk discharged several rounds in his direction, causing him to receive one gunshot wound to his left thigh. The suspect made good his escape on foot. The victim was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital, where he was seen and examined by a doctor on duty. His condition is listed as stable.
Detectives processed the scene, and three (3) suspected 9mm spent shells were discovered.
Police are currently looking for the suspect as investigations continue.
